How to Track Progress of Interviews
with Group/Team Leaders and of Presence of Apprentices
In order to implement the recommendation that all staff be directed to
make their most basic priority the supporting and developing of leaders
who are builders of small caring communities, the following measurements
are appropriate:
Master Data Table of Group Leaders:

Reports created in database software should give counts of groups with
a leader interviewed by a coach for each month for each staff member and
overall. Also for count of groups with Xa named, by staff member
and overall.
- Head counts are interesting as observables, but are not as
significant as recency of coaching interviews as driving
indicators
In filling in the record (row) for a particular group, use parentheses
to indicate when a staff person or an active group leader is also serving
in the role of a coach:
|
Staff (D)
|
Coach (L)
|
Leader (X)
|
|
Marvin
|
(Marvin)
|
Joseph
|
|
Marvin
|
(Joseph)
|
Samuel
|

|

|

- The effect of this styling of the name of the person who is also coaching
in addition to serving as staff or as group leader is to dramatize where
staff are or should be working to train new coaches to take over the
wearing of these extra hats worn by those who are leading a group or
team and also carrying a coaching responsibility.
Reports developed from the Master Data Table for Group Leaders are straightforward.
For each staff member and for all staff members:
- Monthly report of One to One Coaching Interview Timeliness.
[stacked bar chart]
- Monthly tally of groups/teams with apprentices (Xa). [area chart]
