Seminars Seminars that Carl George will offer through Leadership for Ministry are focused on his areas of special interest and expertise. Carl George's interests range from macro-planning issues like those addressed in Barrier Breaking materials or the MetaChurch concept to specific micro-skills required by small group leaders and their coaches. In addition, in every event, he addresses the spiritual life of the leader and the overall health of the churches, so they may be able to maintain effective disciple-making even as they grow. From 1983 to 1995, Carl George participated in the production of numerous seminars intended to bring cutting edge concepts and most effective practices to leaders of growing churches. During that time, the number of church leaders under regular training at the Fuller Institute grew from the 650 who attended the inaugural church planting seminar in Pasadena in 1983 to the nearly 10,000 training seminar participants and tape club subscribers each month in 1995.
